The hotel gave me mixed feelings. The rooms started off attractive, clean, and comfortable until I encountered a room where the TV worked and other amenities were great. The service lacked proper customer care and training, with a focus only on money. The location was excellent for some activities but lacked convenience for others, and the dining experience left much to be desired. However, I appreciated the opportunity to do laundry on-site.
As soon as you walk into the lobby, the hotel's prime location is evident, providing easy access to various attractions. While the rooms might be plain, the friendly staff and cleanliness make up for it. However, the dining options are mediocre, and the pricing might not offer the best value for money.
My stay at the Bay Inn in Tawas was excellent overall. The rooms were comfortable and clean, although I noticed a few stray hairs, but nothing major. The best part was the service, which was top-notch and really made my stay enjoyable. The location was perfect for our needs, close to where we needed to be, with beautiful views of the lake. However, the dining experience left something to be desired with limited breakfast options.
